- CFA Program Scholarship
The Economics and Finance Department in the Cameron School of Business at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is proud to be recognized by the CFA Institute, the global credentialing body for investment management professionals, as an affiliated university in part because the UNCW curriculum is aligned with the CFA Program Body of Knowledge.
This honor allows the Cameron School of Business to offer Economics and Finance students scholarships to the CFA Program, the gold standard of investment management certifications.
Scholarship Overview
This opportunity is for students in their last year of undergraduate study or in the Master of Science in Finance and Investment Management program, who wish to register for one of the three levels of the CFA exam sequence.
- The application can be submitted for any of the three levels of CFA exams and may be submitted at any time. Availability is limited, however.
- CFA Program Student Scholarship discounts reduce the exam registration fee to $600 and waive the one-time program enrollment fee which provides a scholarship discount of approximately $1,000 off the standard cost for a new candidate.
- Candidates must register within six months of the date of award to claim their student scholarship discount. Candidates are not required to sit for the exam within the six-month window.
- The exams are typically administered at Prometric Testing Centers in 400 cities globally. The Wilmington, NC facility is a planned test center.
